1. Start your DVD installation.
2. Select INSTALL NOW
3. Leave the license blank and uncheck the Automatically activate Windows when I'm online
4. Click start and All Programs
5. Go to administrative tools, then services.
6. Then go to SL Notifications then double click it.
7. Then select disabled from the startup type. Click OK.
8. And at the top, click on STOP SERVICE.
9. On Windows Explorer go to \windows\system32 right click on SLLUA file and click Properties.
10. Click on Advanced.
11. Go to Owner tab and click Edit.
12. Click other users or groups.
13. Click Advanced.
14. Click Find Now. Then click OK to everything :)
15. Click Edit.
16. Select Administrators and check FULL CONTROL box. Then YES to confirm.
17. Then click on OK.
18. Then delete the SLLUA file. Then YES to confirm.
19. The same procedure on SLUI and SLUINotify.dll. Follow steps 9 - 18.
Finally, you can test if the crack worked by changing your date. This didn't activate your Server 2008 but it removed the annoying popup and notifications and you can use your server 2008 forever.
